Stopped by a few banks yesterday

A friend and I hit about 15 banks. Didnt do very well, got a lot of halves just not much silver. 10 40% and 1 roll of Ikes. The surprise was we went by the coin store and cashed in the 40% coins. The guy gave us $2 for each coin. Never gotten that before. Silver, all rise!

Any silver is good. Do you normally sell them right away like that?

No, it was the first time my friend went CRH so, I wanted to show him a profit was to be made. It was funny because earlier in the day I called the coin store. I asked the going price for 40% silver kennedys and I told him I had about 100. He said $3.85 per dollar. Which I thought was pretty good. About two hours later we showed up with 10, he gave us $20 for them. Maybe silver shot up in 2 hours. I thought they would give you a better deal with more coins, than less coins. Am I missing something?

From what I understand you do get a better deal with more coins than less. Although I have never sold any so I have no experience there....but good profit anyway....nice.

yeah, he did search at casinos with me before. He lives considerably far from me and there are thousands of banks in this area. I dont see him as compatition.
