Storm's Mailbox find...Since I wasn't able to get out for the last 2 weeks

I traded my other machine I was running for this nice new Explorer SE, 4 year warranty, and Sunray Probe. Check out the new Sunray Probes, Jet Black, never seen one like that before. Anyone else order a probe and get a black one? I am excited to get out and dig some holes with it, but I haven't been able to as of yet. Soon....Very soon!!!!!!!! ;D ;D ;D

Hope everyone does well this weekend!!!!

Happy Hunting! ;D

Sweet! I was thinking about a built in probe a few days ago!!!

Oh well, I guess its another patent I failed to get in! On and on and on to the next one!

Yes, It hooks up to the detector and uses the same setting as the machine. Here is a link for the product...

Bought a sunray for my DFX, and it was black.

Love the way it works through the detector and gives you the same info on the screen as the coil.

I get about 4" of depth with the probe, to.

Having a 1" inch coil is great for pin-pointing.

I'm curious to see what your review is on the Explorer vs. the DFX. I hear it's a much lighter machine.

Keep us posted! HH!

Yes, It is lighter! I could tell right away. I got out for an hour today and dug clad, but the park I was at only dated back to the 60's. Once I get some time on the machine, I will let you know it works vs. my DFX.

Re: Storm's Mailbox find...Since I wasn't able to get out for the last 2 weeks

Went out this weekend with 9volt and that is exactly his set up. HE SWEARS by them, he also had 5 silvers to my one!!! He used that built in probe on every find that I saw him dig. He also said that he could get around 4 inches of dept with it. He held it like a pencil and waved it on the ground to pick up the signal. By the time he was done he knew his target's location within and inch or so, very effective set up. I also heard that the SE was lighter, that's a good thing. Good luck. ;)
