Not much to say about this sunday hunt. We had storm over the weekend and today was ok to hunt. No rain and temperatures above freezing. Stopped hunting before dark tho. First signal was a 1794 1/2 Stuber laying on top, some lead, roman pottery, one tiny roman coin, barrel plug and the pin of a 13th-14th century circular brooch in very good condition.

Hi Ossi! :hello: Do you came out the last week? Snow?

Nice finds. Glad you were able to get out.

Must be nice to pick up Roman pottery that easy. Very cool.

Cool finds, did you find the wheat back penny there also and what year is it?

Thanks Bird! From some fields you can carry pottery with a bucket. Especially in winter when the rain washed them out. Unfortunately most are sparse on metal finds.

Thanks, the wheaty was found cleaning up a car. I use it for size reference. 1948D

Main thing is, you stood a chance of something special & came home with a few keepers..

Nice finds! Hope the weather improves for you. I see one of our wheaties made it's way there.
