straight shaft for sovereign

Looking for a project to do, been wanting a straight shaft for my Elite. Anybody ever build one? Links would be helpful.

Dixie metal detectors have some custom shafts,
but some of there stuff - like there detector stands and the part to
hook up your meter on the Sov mod rod look like PVC parts from home Depot
painted black.
You could check it out and get some ideas.

Williy , Has a nice set up in the Classified for sale with lower rod to go with it ......... You get one any place else you don't get the lower rod...

If you go in to .. sovereignmods .. no www and no .com just plain .. sovereignmods .. in yahoo or google and click on index or sovereignmods sometimes one or the other comes up then go to the bottom of the page and click on next then click on mods and then click on stright shafts it tells how to make a stright shaft there and pretty darn cheap...............

You can buy the aluminium tubing and make your own easily, all you need to do is drill a few holes.
the plastic mounting clip. arm rest and handle( off of an Sd machine) you can get direct form minelab.
