Strange bullet case

Found this strange bullet case at the end of my driveway. It was about 4 inches down. Strange thing is, I live right in the center of town. It had to have been from awhile back. The bottom has some strange writing on it. It looks like Arabic or something. Anyone know anything about this?

Sure does look Arabic or something. Also possibly Israel? Could you measure the neck and the length of the case so we can get an idea of the caliber, that might help pin down the country.

Interesting. I'm thinking possibly Turkish Mauser, but I'm not really sure.

Turkish manufactured 8mm Mauser would be my guess.

Lacking precise measurement info, I can't say with 100% certainty, but I agree with NOLA_Ken and EccentricInTexas, it appears to be a Turkish-made 8mm Mauser Rifle bullet-casing.

in Arabic "numbers" the v is a 7 and the o is a 5 --so 57 or 75 depending upon which way its "read"as in 1957 0r 1975 made -----most likely Turkish 8 mm mauser round.
