It looks like a piece from an Egyptian Revival key chain or necklace. Does it have a hole in a corner of it?

Theres a slight chip on the corner, but i dont think its there for that reason...

I think the "chip" is there for exactly that reason. The corner is cut off too perfectly to be accidental. I believe this item hung as a pendant on a necklace, bracelet, or watch fob. Victorian Renaissance Revival era (Greek, Roman, Egyptian) - late 19th C.

I think the jewelry direction is correct. Earrings perhaps, similar to: Fashion crystal Star dice 925 silver plated chaim pendant
