Strange hammerred copper from Europe... ID Help!

Hey guys, picked up a few old coins while I was on a mission in Germany. I'm not normally a buyer, but they were inexpensive and the seller had no idea what this one was. Reminded me of a Spanish marvedelus... any idea on this one?

Right on Don. It definitely appears to be from ancient Armenia struck during the reign of King Levon II between 1270 and 1289 AD.
