are all these cans buried, and not much else, in this 26in long, by 14in wide, 11in deep hole,

the detector, said loudly, trash, the hand grip vibrated in my hand, was hoping a metal box full
of something.
once i dug out 57 cans, a piece of coal, a brake spring, and 2 small half dollar size, broken beer
bottle pieces, and some kinda metal aluminum plate, i checked hole again, still a loud beeep.
at the back of the hole, [circles in pic ] dug some found more cans, that when removed opened a hole
that revealed, 23 more cans, can total is 78 now.
where you see the arrows in pic, upper right and lower left, about 8in out is another loud trash sound.
the arrow near the circle, is the pit in the ground, that revealed the rest of the cans
i used the cork screw tie out next to tree, to probe, at the other two loud trash beeps, and it
feels like more cans
my first thought was a privy, and a closet drunk, but the area for the trash sounds, is about
4 ft by 4 and a half ft, and the cans are too new, for a privy in that yard.
in the pic of hole is, its hard to see, a big river rock, the east branch of the black river is
about 30=40 ft down, from the bottom of the pic, and about 4 ft back from the hole, is where the
drop to the river starts. so again why bury that many cans and prob more, a few feet away from
the ones i dug. you would think they would have scrapped them
the cans are miller and pbr

When I was a kid, my grandparents lived in the country, and it was
A LOT of money to pay for trash pickup, so every summer we kids
would dig 'em a hole in the back yard. They had chickens
and goats. Anything those animals wouldn't eat ( and very little
in that category! ) was thrown into the trash hole. :icon_thumleft:
I think you found one of 'em thar holes! :P

Wow, a trash cache! Monty

this hole seems to be for beer cans only
im going to dig the other, 2 spots that are
near the first spot, in 2 weeks, to see if
those, have just cans too. when i probed
thats what it felt like.
the landlord of this house, said the man he
bought it from, 15 yr ago, was not a drinker
the mans wife, passed away, in 1986, maybe
she was the drinker, and hid the cans.
one of those, you just want to know about
type of thing

maybe a cache hid under those cans, worth a look.

Scientist's say one can recycled will produce about 3 hours of television time respectively.

Congratulations! Your cache will power up for a while.

If the cans are in straight lines that if extended would cross - check where the lines would cross and see if you get a signal there. siegfried schlagrule
