nice find maybe a gas heater key

Windup key, not sure to what, but this site has some good key folk on it.

Wow that's a cool little key! Congrats! :icon_thumleft:

That does look more like for a gas lamp or something similar I have seen those before.

Cool key!! Congrats on the Find!!!

Very interesting! :occasion14:

It is the key that fits in the hole, behind the picture, that opens the secret wall containing millions of dollars in gold, art, fine wine and more ! Oh well, this is a treasure hunting site right ! It sounded good. Very nice key.

I too think it’s a gas key from an old space heater. I think you could adjust the heat then take the key out so no one could make any temperature changes without you knowing. Congrats on the interesting find.

I'm guessing a gas key, it seems to be to stout to got to a clock or lamp

Found this key ion a basement of a house that was being demolished
Weird to say the least, any ideas?

Cool Key!

I'm guessing and I could be Waaay Off but that key looks very much like the chrome wheel plate key off of my 380sl. Those aren't standard wheels. The plate covers the lug nuts and uses a key like that to remove the plate and then reattach it.

I'm attaching a photo off of a similar wheel.. the arrow points to the hole where the key fits in. Mine is already winterized and up in the shop or I'd take a close up pic of it. I only have front view pic of my 380sl on here.

IF that's right it's from an older special locking wheel Plate. It's the only key I've ever seen that looks like that, but like I said..It's just a guess.

Very Nice Find!!

Kace
