I went back to the spot near the creek where I have found the thing from yesterday and the maybe late 1700’s bottle. I found this object very deep in anaerobic soil almost on the clay layer. I also found another thing like from yesterday. I have no idea what this is, but it seems shaped like this on purpose. The only thing it looks like to me is one of those conical trade arrowheads.! I am probably wrong. There appears to be two raised bits near the end, and they look like something should go there. Any suggestions would be appreciated, thanks! I also probably damaged it with my shovel
Well Damn, I thought I had something for sure. I thought later trade arrowheads were more conical? Guess I was wrong. It has to be something, as the holes I see look like something was to be placed in them, and they are pretty symmetrical on both sides. There appears to be wood or something in the back, now that it is drier. I don't know, just me getting excited over nothing.
