Nice find ! Pope John Paul II was leader of the Catholic Church from 1978- 2005 . John Paul II was bold in proclaiming the Gospel of Christ in many communist countries throughout Europe ,and the Latin American world .He along with Ronald Reagan , and Maggie Thatcher (British P.M.) and Lech Walenza ( lead the Polish dock workers uprising) was helpful in the fall of communism during his tenure.
