Maybe I was in the path of a meteorite fall.
only 2 days later found a pallasite meteorite.
I almost couldn't believe it, finding such beautiful pallasite with a dazzling distribution of lonsdaleite.
1.6 kg for me is incredible.
Like the first, china ceramic shards were included in this discovery
Awesome!

Very Cool!!! Congrats!!!

Only way to prove it is a meteorite is to cut it send a piece off and wait a long time. I have done the process and have 1 listed. The Hillsborough New Mexico. I know a guy Dustin Dickens from Colorado that works with NMSU he can get them done quicker.

I've cut it, it looks like a beautiful meteorite

I'm very interested and will consider it, how long do you think I'll have to wait for the results?

thanks for the advice

Saya sudah memotongnya, terlihat seperti meteorit yang indah

Saya sangat tertarik dan akan mempertimbangkannya, menurut Anda berapa lama saya harus menunggu hasilnya?

Terima kasih atas sarannya
pieces of another meteorite, on a different day

Dustin knows what hes doing. I have several meteorites that came from him that were certified etc. Id agree too, its the only route to go to 100% be sure of its makeup is to send it off to a lab for confirmation.

I wrote to Randy Korotev of Washington University in St. Louis, he suggested I test the lab too. I will try it

Thank you to all of you

My opinion which just that an opinion is that is not a meteorite and I see no sign of it being a pallasite. I have what I know is a pallasite from a fall and 2 of my nephews wittnessed in 1970.
Trying get someone interested is a tough row to hoe. Oh one of the nephews was 4 months older than me and the other was about 8 months younger. I wen hunting for it after Mteorite Men aired and it took me about 15 hrs to find the strewn field.

Oh I think it's slag.

You're right, it doesn't seem like a meteorite. I sent 4 different specimens to the lab.
I hope one of them is true.
if not, it doesn't matter, we still have fun with this hunt.
