I've been racking my brains out trying to research the date code from this Reed Howdy soda bottle. The base states, "STARK SPGS W. MILAN, NH A 873 1". Is it 1931 or 1941? Thanks.

I see that your bottle shows, "Stark Springs W Milan NH" embossed on the bottom, not St Louis, MO like the article indicates.

Stark Springs is a water bottling company out of W Milan, New Hampshire.
