Stumbled on a new site

Detecting for a couple hours in the snow . Found a house site i didn't know about at a place ive detected numerous times. Was definitely worth getting snowed on for . 1877 seated liberty dime, 1807 US large cent, 3 Missouri Tax Tokens , flat buttons, bridal rosette, pewter spoon handle and other goodies

Im in otsego county . Started snowing here at about 5pm. 10pm now and the ground is white

Wonder why 3 Missouri Mills were in N.Y. Have you done any research on the house site to know the property owners?

I've found a couple of the 5 mill coins and have several plastic ones. I think they went out in the early 60's here. Nice finds. Good luck.

Its funny but over the years ive found 10 or so tax tokens here in ny. So far ive found Missouri, Mississippi and Louisiana. No idea how they got here , but they have been in 3 different counties and 3 different sights . The property i found these on is actually owned by my family and has been since 1796.

No shame in it at all . I am a ny redneck through and through . I should of been born in the south
