Successful day and not cuz of any finds

A little background first. Last weekend I'd hurt my knees, I couldn't even walk on Monday. But, cuz of my younger days and all the running I did, I studied and learned a LOT about legs and their mechanics.

Long story shorter, I started "healing" techniques and by yesterday, I was able to limp pretty good.

Today, I started testing my results. I picked on a rather large, soft, flat playground. Wrapped up in Ace bandages and took AT for about an hour walk.

The real test will be to see if I can get out of bed in the morning.

When I walked out of the store, I found a scratched off lottery ticket that was worth two bucks. I reinvested the two bucks for two more tickets and won again!

Yeah....a successful day! If you ask me.

I found a $1 Sacagawea dollar on the floor at work and kept it and a penny under the truck. Then I found out I have absolutely no ability to flint knapp, so swept up a bunch of scrap and threw it out. Then I found out I haven't been able to fix the generator yet. Hope your knees are ok. Everything I own hurts.

Hey Whadi, sorry to hear about the knees, occasionally I have ONE flare up and it sux, so I couldn't imagine BOTH hurting, good luck! But good getting out and not just laying up licking your wounds, here's my wishes on getting better soon, Ddf.

I feel your pain Whadi. My knees are not in the best of shape anymore, after 27 years in the Brown truck, and 4 years of High school sports. Hope they can keep you moving.

Knees and feet are little thought of till mobility is an issue.

Maybe those two can be coerced into doing a little of the digging, since they are at ground level.

I guess i won't be asking you what the weird item is. I found one last year. I was guessing it was part of something in the "e" world.

It is a great day when one can return to the outside and search for treasure of any sort, including guidance.

All sports through my school years, sandlot sports and other activities in my middle years, 25+ years installing floors.......and I choose metal detecting as a hobby for my retirement years........I feel your pain. These old knees talk to me when I climb the steps in a quiet house. But, what I found is, just keep moving, WHADIFIND.
