In light of the recent scare of mushroom like tumors caused by E-tracs, several have chosen to switch over to Bounty Hunter models. The only problem is that once exposed to the EM radiation from the E-trac, one is especially prone to further exposure. The bounty hunter models are not safe if you've already been exposed to E-trac. The only safe alternative is this detector (it sells for only 20 GBP):
