It's not the raison, but the anniversary of the biggest maritime disaster in America. Interesting read as I have heard about it, but never read all the details regarding the explosion.

I remember some years ago reading about the discovery of the Sultana in a field so far way from what the river is today, that alone it makes it very interesting.
