Nice video, but I had hoped to see some eye candy!! The larger rimfire casing looks like a .32 and the key thing looks like a tin key, like used on sardine tins. You stuck the key in a tab on the side of the tin and twisted it which rolled the metal sealing strip around the key and opened the tin.

Hey you cant beat any day detecting especially in the water, and you scored a wheatie at least! :icon_thumright:

I noticed you were using an F2 in the water. How does it fare? I live in Michigan too and have just a couple small rivers near me I'd like to try.

I know what you mean about the eye candy and totally agree!! As much as I would like to share that, I cant in good conscience put people on film without them saying its cool lol. Lets just say any time MDing at the beach is good. The eye candy just makes it that much better :)

It does a good job for me. Of course it can only find what is in there! Make sure you lose a lanyard. I dunked my F2 a few weeks ago, and it was touch and go. She dried out and works fine, but I learned my lesson. You can check out my vids on Youtube, where you will see the F2 getting some water finds. I have a ton of them. The link is under this post.
