I'm a huge fan of the Sun Ray X1 probe. If you're chasing deep iffy signals, this probe will save you lots of digging. After digging your plug, run the probe around in the hole. You'll know right away whether you're chasing a deep coin as opposed to iron junk. The probe also makes changing coils quick and easy.
