Sunday short stroll

Today England’s earth was frozen again, but we set off undaunted… until it started to sleet 🙄 at that point we decided that we had had enough fresh air and headed home, so sorry not much to show you, plus i left my phone in the car so no pics… but we were in the same spot as yesterday 😆 xx

Beautiful crotal bell, perfectly rolled piece of lead, some buttons, buckles, thimble, spindle whorl and the usual lead bits! x

Ahh thank you! As I chipped away at the frozen ground, with the sleet in my eyes, i was hoping our small stash would be post worthy 😂 xx no digging for us now till Boxing Day 😬 xx

You get an A for effort...that crotal bell with a red ribbon would look nice on a Christmas tree!

You got a late medieval/Tudor swivel, small enough to be a hawking swivel.
A broken Medieval Sword belt hanger with a small loop, these was a set of 3 of these on the scabbard and a matching set of 3 hooks on the belt.
