I live in Darlington, SC and as alot of Nascar fans know the race is this weekend and I just heppen to live right across the road where all the drunken rednecks camp at. 
I am going to start early Sunday morning 5/12/13 and see if I find anything. I know alot will be modern coins, but who knows what kind of jewelry might be lost with the drunkards around. May make for a good day. Then later spend some time with my mom since it is mothers day. Also, might try to hunt around a school down town called St. John Elementary that was built in 1818 and the original bulding is still being used now. HH everyone!
