Has anyone been in contact with Sunspot Scoops lately? I've tried to contact them, but, haven't been able to. I tried both email and phone with no luck after leaving several messages.

I've looked at (and used) their products. Many reasons I don't use them for my applications. Mostly because I'm hard on scoops and they're just not heavy duty enough. Most of their scoops look to be discontinued also......

Just FYI, they are in California so be sure you call them based on Pacific time.

I was able to reach them today. The man that answered said they're out of Carbon Fiber shafts, but to try back in a month. I called just after 9am PST.

SunSpot - Chuck the original owner sold the business to a guy named Paul in CA. Starv & Xtreme are still pumping out scoops , Xtreme is making titanium & 316 SS with several CF handle options currently in the USA Texas based . Hope this helped .

No, just want to say I'm still using one of their original scoops for 30 years now, welded it a couple times, even back over it. Tough.
