super find - ww2 american mine detector with case

Picked up this for $40 bucks at a sale on saturday morning. It marked march 1945 so just made it for war time era. Its practically new and pretty much complete as far as i can tell. It even has the spare tubes, desiccant and battery with box. I put it together and it looks great. I cant lie i strapped on the backpack and utility strap and tested it out on the lawn. Now mind you its not working but prob would just really wanted to get a feel for it. Lots of fun. Looks like the box was painted at some point - dopes!! Prob could strip it but ill let the buyer do that. thanks for looking.
