This morning I went to the beach to see what the recent Nor'easter had to offer. The beach looked like a Mother Nature's crime scene. There was debris everywhere. Huge trees, several docks, all sorts of garbage, and tons of sea grass all along the beach. I was hoping for a silver or gold anything. My third signal was actually a ring with BEST FRIENDS FOR LIFE on it. But not silver. I did find some clad, 4 fishing weights, a tiny lure, and tons of junk. Still had fun anyway.
Knowing that another Nor'easter is arriving tonight/tomorrow with 8-14" of snow with it, I decided to head up to a permission farm and see what that might yield, before I'm out of detecting business for a while. I found my first full horseshoe, which was pretty exciting. I've found several ox shoes within the past year, but never a full horse shoe until today. I found a few other things there, including a clad quarter, but nothing too exciting. The horse shoe was good enough for me. Glad I made a day of it!
For those awaiting the arrival of Quinn, all the best!
