I made a round of surface findings in the melty spots of Denver today.
I found:
-$1.27 in clad
-a Macy's card with unknown amount left on it
-a pair of gloves that just need a wash
-various metal bits
-a foreign coin I would love help identifying
-and a War Nickel!

Good luck to everyone as it warms up 8-)

I believe that's a 100 yen coin. Nice finds!

Don't forget to check along the chainlink fences for paper money after the snows. The AAA office parking lot up off Colorado Blvd. was always a payday ($120 my personal best). The plows shove everything up against the fence, then when the wind blows it gets replenished with paper!

Also, the storm drain outlets between the Platte & Santa Fe deposit a lot of goodies. Hope that gives you a few ideas!
