Hi Folks, Been a bit since I've posted. My detecting hobby is pretty much finished and I finally got around to look at all the things I've found over the years. I found the two gold coins I found on my first time out detecting. I figured that if I was going to start getting rid of things, I might as well get them graded so I would know what I was dealing with. So I sent them off to NGC for grading and slabbing. You can imagine my surprise when they both came back as uncirculated. I was not prepared for that. What are the chances of finding two gold coins your first time out and they both are in MS 61 and 62 grade. That was a huge surprise for me. Guess it's the blind pig scenario.

Thanks for looking,
Daryl

Beautiful golds! Sorry to hear your detecting has ended.

Sorry to hear you won't be detecting any longer. Congratulations on the golds and the grading, most of us will never experience such a day
