oldjerseygirl and I were back at my buddies woods again today, Becky found a suspender buckle just like mine at a different spot at the same site early on. We both found a few old bullets. I found the hinge near where I found the ring. That makes two rings from this site, this one still had a faint spot or two of gold left on her. Iv'e found a few now where the tell tale is the green peeking through. I found a girl scout ring last summer that had that green peeking through. Enjoy the pix, it was a nice sunny day, makes for pretty scenery back in those South Jersey woods.

Congrats on the finds! That ring looks really old. Any markings on the inside of it? Looks like you have a good site there.

Congrats Treb! I like the ring, looks really old. The suspender buckle is cool too!

Glad to see that you are getting out. Hope the weather continues to warm. GL&HH!

Good group of finds Brad! The Deus is looking like you've used it a bit.

Sweet buckle, love that colonial stuff!

Ya know, gold or not, those lil round things sure tend to warm one up, from the inside out.

WTG!

You're gonna hit a nice hotspot real soon there. You're zoning in on it quickly.

Thanks everyone for your comments, I love that Deus, so much more comfortable not having wires to deal with. I have four disc fused in my neck and having my head wired to a machine/headphones is not comfy. This place is one of those places down here by me that has been absolutely pounded. It was nice yesterday to have squeeked out a few more finds, I always like finding rings. Some day one of them will be a huge honker with some big diamonds in it, still exciting, especially a deep old ring like this one.
There were no discernible marks inside the ring.
