T2 on the beach

Has anyone used a T2 on the beach , planning to go Cali next week and wondering how good the T2works on a beach??

If you know how to use it right, it'll do well in the dry and damp sand, but it won't be usable actually in the water. And, keep a plastic bag over its head to protect it from the salt-laden ocean air-- California beach winds are usually onshore.
