Tag looking Item...Not Sure...

Found this Tag, I'm calling it that anyway... at an old ghost town permission I've been detecting that dates back to the 1900-1910 era... Not really sure what it is or even if it's from back then (old). Any help would be greatly appreciated. The back of the tag is blank...

Watch fob is what I think also. I once saw a sterling silver one with a small leather belt attached in an antique shop and they had it listed as an antique luggage tag.

I would say it's a watch fob also.
