Went up to the lake to escape the heat again. It was a 20 degree difference in temperature only 20 miles away! Had a nice time swinging and enjoying the scenery. I think somebody else has hit this spot as there were hundreds of bottle caps and aluminum tabs all over the surface. I use a long handled sand scoop so it's easy to pick them all up, with the thought of an easier hunt if I return.

Both the gold and silver ring were under bottle caps!

The big throwing knife is an odd thing to find on a family beach...

Nice pair of rings. Your cleaning up of the junk is good for you because you found the rings and it will be easier to find the goodies next time. It is also good for the folks who come to enjoy the beach, it looks nicer and they are less likely to hurt their feet on bottle caps and other junk. Well done on all counts.
