the alleged tavern spot and area were cemented in the early 1900s for the animals and barn where they say the tavern was (writings from rev war he used it as temp headquarters ) isn’t where I’m finding the stuff it’s close but on the opposite side of 18 th century road here is a pic of the stone foundation of alleged tavern it was a barn u til the eighties when torn down the inside Is cement floor I believe and behind it are numerous rectangular cemented structures that were used as animal pens /shelters so I’d have to have concrete taken out which sucks cause there is so much history u see it I’m sure to the right is the old road and the. the right side at top of photo was the tavern the rest of the right is all concrete the left is where I find everything and no concrete half the road in the picture (upper half ) is concrete under the dirt
