Teach me please!

Hello all, brand new here (I live in Marana) and my first post. I’m very interested in learning the ins & outs of relic hunting and gold prospecting. I borrowed my mother-in-laws old metal detector to get my feet wet. I figure if I learn the hobby and enjoy it as much as I’m fascinated by it, I will buy a good quality detector.

I’m hoping to find someone in my area that can teach me the ropes, take me out on a hunt and share their knowledge of the hobby.
