Technology makes me obsolete just when I think I know something

Taking the next step, retiring means stop doing it was that you did then forcing you to wonder what to do! So now the worlds my apple right, so I bite, my wife and I enjoy warm ocean breezes and the solitude of time on a boat in the Caribbean. It appears I am going to have to fill in a few years until my wife is ready to consider retiring, I have spent the last 7 years renovating a old stone farmhouse and barn so my last professional commitment is completed leaving me with some time and curiosity.

I am a seasoned RV and boat owner, am familiar with big diesels and electronics. I am cleared to look into some different types of diesel expedition yachts that can be refitted with a focus on supporting equipment on board to facilitate using a more focused and refined search techniques along with affordable newer technologies as in submersible drones and tow behind sonars. I am not talking the super high line tech stuff yet, at best Chinese stuff or used reconditioned equipment. Problem is I don’t even know what exactly is available it is evolving so fast.

I intend to use hookah systems for the hands on portion of the work. The advantage I am trying to gain is the ability to stay out in an area for up to a month if needed. Hopefully the research parameters I am setting up along with the newer technologies and space imaging guidance we can get a good start. It

Spain has got involved with technology somewhat. You have to wonder if Spain is using it as an arm to recover treasure. Right now they have Spain Detectors in South America. I'm following finds the search team is making. I have some good photos but it would cause your eyes to pop out or hurt real bad. This is from a recent post on FB in the Spanish speaking treasure hunting groups (Mexico and South/Central America). Statue looks like gold, need to take a better inspection.

Would be nice if a find such as a gold statue of Spanish origin, could be found on a shipwreck.
