Re: Tejon's knobs

A serpentine belt setup would move all the knobs if you adjust just one. LOL Why not just put a 1/4" O ring under each knob?

Maybe so huh :icon_scratch:

Actually your idea may work. I just prefer the o rings myself. They also help keep out dirt and moisture from getting in.

Re: Tejon's knobs

moving knobs are a problem with Tesoro. I ordered a rainproof cover and battery cover that is made in England. It covers the complete control panel and has a felcro top with a plastic cover so you can see your knob settings. It also comes with a cover for the battery box which keeps the battery doors snugly closed. This guy does good work and it cost $30 total and that was including postage from England where postage is high.

Most of all I don't have to keep checking my knobs. One time I had to use my gps to backtrack and find my battery pack which had fallen out, no worry there either.

One last thing about batteries this time. I use my batteries until they beep three times, always change them before two beeps. Anyway, the used batteries are great for my gps and my wireless mouse, probably still good for the Tesoro, but want to keep the power up there.
