I have been maybe considering a Teknetics T2. How does it compare to the AT Pro? Or even the Etrac? The T2 sure looks like a fisher, are they just another brand of fisher? I have the At pro and love it, but want to buy a new detector with the clad i have found this year. Also thinking of ctx 3030. Just trying to decide what machine would be good along side my at pro?

The T2 and Fisher F75 are brothers. First Texas owns Fisher, TEknetics, and Bounty Hunter. I just got a T2 yesterday and have several hours in with it already. I traded a G2 to Edd at Treasure Mountain for it. I loved my G2 but wanted a depth demon because of hunting some areas with unusually deep stuff. It is certainly going to take some getting used to as I have done what everybody warns against and tried to run it too hot. The 5 inch coil amazed me with the depth I got in the test garden. I chose it over the AT Pro but may get one of those this spring to hit the water with. Way too early to tell how much I will like it but so far so good. No experience with the Minelab. Good luck.....:dontknow:

Ok, what does it mean by running it to hot???

By 'running it to hot' the poster means to say that they set the sensitivity and/or threshold too high and/or the discrimination too low and got a lot of noise instead of useful tones.

Hi
I currently own all 3 of the machines you have mentioned.I can give you my opinion on them. They all have their own strengths.I use my CTX for people's yards to dig deep silver. The AT pro with the small coil is the king of the cellar holes for me,it's a flat out beast in the iron, nice and quick too. Then finally the T2 it is my all around favorite, fast and deep.It is my go to field machine, and with the boost mode it works really well in just cut corn fields with the stubble from the stalks in boost mode.Hope that helps ya a bit.HH Tom

T2, is my favorite machine, worth every penny. John..

So how does the T2 compare to the F75? I know the fisher has a few extras like a lighted screen....
