These are from the past few hunts!! I've had a some good permissions come my way. I sure love summer and getting out. Estate sales and yard sales are good for permissions. The zodiac printing plate is so detailed it's awesome. If anyone knows a way to clean it let me know. I would love to see the image. The Knights of Maccabees pin or cufflink is Masonic. Their motto "The stars my camp, the Deity my light. " I sure like that. I can't believe I didn't break the Telegraph or the soldier. Of coarse I would like to know more about him!! Usually my dimes clean up right away, this one didn't for some reason. Thanks for taking a peek. I hope your next dig is a good one! IMG_20210615_182725808.webpIMG_20210615_202154.webp.

Cool finds!!!

Possibly a fake dime? Did it ring up like a regular dime? Gary

awesome finds, wtg

Thanks for the posts! Toddspoint I checked this am, it rings up the same. I have been cleaning finds with a pickle pot, used for silversmithing. I think the acid was very dirty and caused a slight reaction with the coin. Sometimes when iron gets into it I think it does that. Stay cool out there!!

Great find on the telegraph, I've not seen one of these posted here before.

The printing plate is very cool as well,
Dave

Thanks Dave, I thought I found a telegraph years ago but it was junk. I'm glad to have one for the wall! It was soo close to being broken. I studied printmaking in College. Plates are some of my favorites. Someday when I have time I'll make images of them all.
By the way I sure love that John Wayne quote.

Nice!!! Congrats!!!

Awesome finds! That telegraph has the wires and all! That's so cool! Love the plate too! That's a big one!

Thanks RJ and HunterMF, it's a good permission, hopefully I will be posting more!!

I think it would be cool to see what the image is of the one you found.

Thanks for mentioning the John Wayne quotes, my favorite one is... "Life's hard. It's even harder when you're stupid." :laughing7:

You recovered some great finds! Congratulations! And thanks for sharing with us.

Thanks for the positive post ArfieBoy!!! Life sure is good when your enthralled in the hunt!!! I can't wait to get out again!!!!

Very cool plate. Id like to see it cleaned up and pressed on something! I bet it'd be awesome!

The dime may have been in a fire.

I definitely agree, it may have been sandwiched in something that reacted to the silver when it was hot. I don't have to worry about it. I gave the owner the option of the keeping cufflink or the silver. I am happy with the cufflink! I hope you have been well!!!
