Where did you find the old type military folding shovel (entrenching tool)?? I can not find one in Monroe, even tried a surplus store around Shreveport. If you know of a couple, I would be interested.
Merry Christmas,
John

Gator as you know, I am presently in Oroville, Ca.. There is a giant army surplus store here and they does have them.. Not sure about the price. When I get a chance, I will go by and check for you and give you a call with the price. Keep in mind that I will not be back in Louisiana till around Feb...

Sorry about takeing so long to respond I just got time to sit down read. I had a friend of mine in army surplus stores in Virgina while he was there visiting his son. He went to several stores before he found one and it had a pick on one side a 1920's intrenching tool it cost 24.00. Brenda and I where rummageing threw junk stores in Stutgart awhile back and I found one in a pile of old army coats and gear in the back of the store. The store owner said he didn't know it was back there and he let me have it for 5.00 and it was in new condition. They are hard to find in most places.

They are all over ebay if you're willing to go that route
