Tesoro/goldbug G2 adaptor

Hi i have been told a few years ago then tesoro coil (high frequency)could be adapted a goldbug or G2 is there anyone her who did the adaptor?i was wondering what the excellent DD5.75 will do on a Bug will probably do good.
