Tesoro Part

So I have had many other things going on the last few years and I have not done any detecting at all. Things are getting simpler and I want to get back out plus my son is showing an interest.

I pulled out my Tesoro Cibola and remembered the battery compartment door has a problem and needed to be replaced.

I researched where to get one and I find out Tesoro is no longer in business.

So, is there a source to get parts for Tesoros? If not, does anyone know where to get a battery compartment door for a Cibola?

It may be a little hard to find a compartment door by itself, without buying a used machine. If you do buy a used machine for parts, you could use the door on both, as they are all the same (at least I think they are). Or, you could rig something to work as a door with a little tinkering. This is a tough one, and I know how you must feel, being that it is such a simple part of the whole machine causing the problem.
