Tesoro should...

Allow the warranty to transfer to a new owner (on used units) in the case of their water machines. After this long it would seem fair and within reason to allow the transfer if say the unit was 2-3 years old.
I know they are pretty good about working on machines without worrying about it,but it would be a nice piece of mind to some brand loyal folks,since no-one has been able to purchase a new one. Say just maybe a window of opportunity on the website to transfer serial numbers and names...just a thought.

I bought a used Sand Shark on ebay last month. It was damaged by the USPS on it's way to me.
I called Tesoro and they fixed it for free and shipped it back to me in under a week at their expense,
despite my telling them I was not the original owner.
It seems this policy is already in place, but allows Tesoro to not be abused.

It's not a bad idea, but since Tesoro is the only company I know who offers a lifetime warranty, asking them to make transferable also might be asking a bit too much.
