Testing for placer diamonds

hi all
i want to test some pink sand for diamonds, anyone know where i can send the sand to have it tested. preferably in Vancouver bc

REALLY
is it that easy.
i turned around and dug out a old broken fluorescent light on the table behind me.
the cover is broken, but the lights are intact.
i just plugged it in and it worked, now i need to go back to the creek and get some more pink sand.
I DO remember about 20 years ago when i got the light, i did try it on the pink sand and there was some florescent pieces. but i am sure there is lots of stuff that glows under a florescent light.
the big question is , what color should i look for?

Most diamonds glow a blue color under the blacklight. However, not all diamonds will fluoresce and some glow different colors, such as yellow.
