Picked up a T2 SE to fill me depth seeking needs. It's not quite doing the job I expected but still pulling some good stuff out of the ground. Here's the finds from the past 2 days, a few firsts.

I was flaky taking pics during the digs cause I was diggin a lot of junk seeing what all the numbers and sounds meant.

My First eagle button, is this CW? It has a backmark but I cant make it out. Was down about 6"

My First large cent 1849, this one was a faint crackly signal but it was jumping up into the 90's so I dug it anyway. Glad I did! Was down about 8"

My first Buffalo 1925. Down about 6" or so

T2 seems like a good machine, all the chatter drives me bonkers but maybe I can get used to it. Trying to figure out how to pull some more depth out of it, tried a lot of different sens/disc/tone combos, still has a hard time grabbing a quarter at 6"+

Beautiful Large!! My son loves the T2. You just have to hear what it is telling you:)

Nice haul! The button is Federal infantry. Very unique ax head.

not doing the job? First CW button and a Large Cent...I'd say she's doin just fine.

I've been known to expect too much before. I will say I've found more GOOD old stuff with the T2 SE in 2 days than I did my compadre in 3 years so it can't be too bad. I found 2 wheats, 2 indians heads and 1 half dime with the compadre but they were all under 4" deep

Lost hunter I love your avatar. Reminds me of a member of my family known as "Digsy". She was formerly Dixie, but one day she dug up a dime while we were out "prospecting", and she has been Digsy ever since. She can't tell the difference anyway because she can't spell, read, or write. But you can plainly see she can speak! Monty
