Neat pics.

I work for the govt agency that has the second ship...it appears to be a bob hope
class roll on roll off ...most interesting ship....
the blue and yellow bands on the stack signify the miitary sealift command...

and yes they are quite big... and you would not believe what all can fit on those
ships

respects

around the corpus christie TX area near the ball park is where the vessel docks most likely -- I worked on it if thats your area --if its not that one then theres another one just like it (sister ship)---its a military supply ship bob hope class ro / ro vessel---I worked on the one in corpus christie as a relief cook a few years back - Ivan

there are several divisions of the govt agency I work for

the govt services division..one I work for
the charter division..ships are chartered for military cargo
the union division... this one belongs to the union division...

It looks to be the fisher or bob hope... there are 4 in that class....

wish I was in the states...but unfortunately in the south pacific...another 3 months
from the states proper...*sigh*...be glad when I see the good ole usa...

by the way... those are nice ships to serve on...
