its was great to finally meet you Gene, to bad we didn't find much, like you said will have to try again in the fall, just too thick with all the ferns, i went by the Ropes mine area but they have no tresspassing signs, i have a cousin that has relatives with property in there though, will have to get in touch, found another old gold mine next to deer lake not much to see there, lots of old cans and garbage, the area must of been used as a dump during the 20-30s i would guess. I have to thank you for the signed copy of your book, will read it this week and let you know how i liked it. Steve

well Gene, i finished Trout Falls Chronicles- Easy Does It, and have to say i enjoyed it, an easy read. Two Forked River was my favorite chapter, it cracked me up Steve
