Thanks to Mother Nature!

A little over a week ago, we got a foot of snow then bitter cold for a few days. But Mama Nature apparently decided to give us a break, because after a 45 degree Friday, it was nearly 60 with rain Saturday. Another mid-40 degree day on Sunday and time to take advantage!

Took a ride to a favorite park and with the wet, softened ground, it seemed to help pop out a few keepers. Never thought I'd be hunting on January 12, so I'm very grateful.

Haha, I'm on the Cape and feel the same way. I had to work until 5 yesterday, but went out in the yard with a flashlight when I got home. I found my very first silver! Congrats on your finds and HH!
