That Best "Own Junk" discovery?

A couple of weeks ago I was cleaning the garage, going through jars full of nuts & bolts, old totes that had been stored for years, etc. I found some pretty cool stuff I didn't even know I had, or that I had completely forgotten about. It got me to thinking, "How many people make the same really cool discoveries in their own junk?" This ever happen to you? If so, what great find did you discover in your own junk?

Re: That Best "Own Junk" discovery?

I met a man today in the mall collectible store today that had brought in some old coins his mother left him. He said the coins had been sitting around for years and was hoping to get $300 for them. He was quite happy to walk out with over $1300 dollars in his pocket. I was also looking at some old "junk" rings trying out my new loupe and discovered a 14k on the inside of one. How can you ever be sure what something is worth.

"NEW Loop!".........HEY! That's not fair! You never told me you got a new loop! I think it's right in the metal detecting code of ethics that you have to inform your hunting partner about new MDing toys at least 3 days before a trip. Am I wrong here? Can he pull that sneaky crap on me? Someone call Sandman or Tom-n-CA, I don't think he can do that! ETHICS BREAKER! :help:
