Well, thats it. That's a wrap for 2017. It was a crazy fun year beating all last year's totals and knocking some MAJOR items off my bucket list. Before I get to all of that, I just wanna say how much fun I had hunting along side alot of good friends. Got to hunt some really cool spots, some old home sites, great permissions, and even a spot I dubbed my "clad factory" real close to home. The clad factory helped pad my silver count for this year but I'm not complaining. Ended up with 87 total silver (75 coins, 12 non coin silver items) 3 and a half large cents, 1 KGIII, 1 pristine 2 center, a toasted half cent, 32 Indians, 15 old nickels, 332 wheats, and some GREAT relics. Managed 2 #4 crotal bells, an amazing colonial shoe buckle fully intact, some cool buttons including 2 civil war infantry buttons and a bunch of flat buttons. This year I got my oldest United States silver early on with the 1857 seated dime, then got #1 on my bucket list, 1820 capped bust dime! Probably my most favorite find of the year is the beautiful 1877 seated quarter love token. That is something you don't see everyday. The barber quarter still eludes my coil, hopefully next year I can check that off the list. What a fun year thanks for following along with me can't wait to get started once the ground thaws! Thanks for looking, happy hunting, and best of luck next year!

Wow! What a year. I love the complete shoe buckle and of course the Capped Bust Dime is at the top of my list. You are bound to find that Barber Quarter as soon as the melt starts. Congrats!!

That's a pretty impressive display of silver coins and jewelry. My favorite though is the intact shoe buckle.

Very nice Chris. Happy new Year bud

The love token hurt me the worst Chris, followed by the killer capped dime. The shoe buckle is sweet too.

You did really well this year. Congrats.

Yes that love token was a good punch below the belt. A quarter sized token is wicked rare.
