Today(Wed) I met a new MDer, Alan, who came to see the challenge of the farm. We talked a little bit about our respective machines, introduced ourselves proper then set about the task. It seems that with every new day the cash count keeps going down, and today was on par with that. I found the quarter but he found the '66 dime, and most of the Modern coppers, '61, '63, '68, '74, '75, '76, '79, and '81. He also found a wheat penny that doesn't want to clean up. It has some better surfaces but it also has a few craters. I'll clean it down at least to find a date on it. Another .45 cal. slug with a flat top this time. A 30-06 casing with an unused primer that was probably opened just for the powder.

So Tuesday will be the next day I can get back and possibly with another new hunting partner. Says he can find the silver! Let's see if we can go out on a bang.

Way to keep at it. There's got to be some deep stuff there. What's the item with a hole in it, a gauge to set gaps with? Thanks.
