The 69 Pit.

For 3 1/2 hours I dug all these but 1 in a 8' square area. 1 hole hade 10 in it. Talk about impossible to pinpoint. In the end I walked away from it to save for another day.

Has to be. I got 12 out of the same spot yesterday. I'm thinking cartridge box spill. It had quite a few square nails mixed in. There's one in the upper left hand corner.

Dunno, maybe it's a case. I walked away from 5 more signals that probably weren't single targets.

love it when you dig a good signal, get another and another........ my son and I dug 32 3 ringers out of a single hole about 5-6 years ago. It was not one of our greatest finds, but a great memory we will share. Looks like you had a similar experience!
