Got out to a couple spots with my buddy today. Hit a spot where there seemed to be some activity but we were unable to find a cellar hole. Turned up a couple batwing buckles near a stream that was near an old road. The first one was broken but the second one came up about 30 feet away and was intact. I love the look of these buckles and I always like to see them turn up. The intact one was a good 9 or 10 inches deep.

Moved to a field site where there were several homesites in the past. The pottery, clam shells, and glass was scattered all over the place. I'ts definitely been hunted before though as the finds were few and far between. A couple buttons, 2 rings (both of which were copper/brass and crushed by the plow), a headless lead toy soldier, some pieces of clay pipe, a piece of sterling silverware and a number of other miscellaneous things came up.
